Taking a screenshot on the Galaxy S20 with a palm swipe may seem unusual at first, but you’ll get used to it quickly. Instead of merely capturing what’s on your screen, this way of taking a screenshot on a Galaxy S20 allows you to capture the full page of a website. To begin, take a standard screenshot by pushing and holding the volume down and power buttons simultaneously (way one) or by swiping your palm across the screen (method two) (method two).

After you’ve done that, a menu with a few options will display at the bottom of the screen. Select “Scroll capture” and continue tapping on it to scroll down the page. Your Galaxy Note 10 will take many screenshots of the page, which will then be stitched together to make the final output.

Detailed instructions:

  1. Select the content you wish to save by clicking on it.
  2. Take a screenshot with the volume down and power keys or a palm swipe.
  3. Tap the Scroll capture option at the bottom of the screen.
  4. Keep pushing the Scroll capture button to keep scrolling down the page.

Samsung’s Bixby digital assistant can capture a screenshot of your Galaxy S20 with a simple voice command. “Take a screenshot,” simply say while pushing and holding the phone’s dedicated Bixby button.

  1. Select the content you wish to save by clicking on it.
  2. Press and hold the Bixby button or say, “Hi Bixby.”
  3. “Take a screenshot,” say to the digital assistant when it is turned on.

Method 5: Google Assistant is a virtual assistant created by Google

Aside from Bixby, all Galaxy S20 phones include Google Assistant, which lets you take a screenshot with a voice command. To activate Assistant, simply say “OK Google.” To capture a screenshot, simply say “take a screenshot” or type the command into the keyboard.

Detailed instructions:

  1. Select the content you wish to save by clicking on it.
  2. “All right, Google,” you say.
  3. You can speak “take a screenshot” or input the command onto the keyboard.

Method 6: A smart selection.

Samsung’s Smart Select function is excellent for capturing only a section of the content on the screen. You can make a GIF or snap a screenshot (square or oval).
